Dubai Festival City for Mid East Shopping Centres meet

A six-strong delegation from Dubai Festival City, the waterfront 'city-within-a-city' being built on the shores of Dubai Creek, is to attend this week's annual convention of the Middle East Council of Shopping Centres.
Phil McArthur, Director of Leasing and Marketing at Dubai Festival City is to address delegates on 'Retail Refinement', an overview of retailing in the region, while Judy Neil, the project's General Manager Marketing, will outline 'The Shopping Centre As A Leisure Destination.'
Dubai Festival City, the Middle East's largest mixed-use real estate project, has varied retail components in its masterplan, including value for money retailers, hypermarkets, fashion anchors and boutiques, festival\waterfront retail and High Street-style shopping sitting alongside world class family entertainment outlets.
"Our support of MECSC underlines the commitment of Dubai Festival City to growing and transforming the retail experience in the region," said McArthur. "At the annual convention we hope to provide input into the industry's regional development process and come away with greater insights into what needs to be done and what can be done to further position the region as an international retail destination."
