OBE Organic takes part in Gulfood 2012

OBE Organic is proudly a family business. Chairman David Brook heads a co-operative of farmers with more than seven million hectares of Australia's best cattle grazing pastures (a size equivalent to six times the land mass of Qatar) and 25,000 head of cattle.

David Brook is a driving force in the industry for natural organic farming, and for maintaining traditional farming methods. Now, OBE Organic has gone a step further by developing a certified halal organic meat product that offers a healthy beef option for families in the Middle East.

David speaks regularly on the benefits of their organic farming processes that meet the halal requirements of sanitized conditions and sterile slaughterhouses.

He says, "It is important that all the processes are free of hormones, pesticides and chemicals. OBE Organic's cattle live stress-free lives which contribute to the quality of the world's safest and besttasting organic beef. David's daughter Dalene Wray is OBE Organic's Regional Manager in Asia, where she has been successfully developing the organic beef market over the last ten years.
