Diyar Al Muharraq announces a programme of community activities for February 2012 to Protect the Environment

The series of activities planned for the month includes two days dedicated to the donation of small trees to the public at a stand at Seef Mall on the 22nd and 23rd of February.

The proactive gesture will encourage people to plant more trees and maintain them within their gardens and neighbourhood.

On 25th February a Walkathon proceeding from Dohat Arad is intended to create public awareness and cooperation for the cause of the environment. All information about oncoming programmes will be announced through social media sites like Facebook (Diyar Al Muharraq) and Twitter (@DiyarAlMuharraq).

Diyar Al Muharraq has consistently set high standards of ecological responsibility through example, practice and hands-on measures.
