Besides the match-making event, the Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Döring will have political appointments in order to discuss the opportunities of further cooperation between the UAE and the State of Baden-Württemberg for the benefit of both sides.
'The participating companies are seeking to enter the Middle East market for the first time,' said Mr. Michael Muller, Director Marketing & Sales of Expo Centre Sharjah, ' and represent a wide range of innovative, cutting-edge products and services from Germany's leading industrial state of Baden-Wurttemberg. Hence the Buyer-Seller Meet provides an excellent opportunity for regional industrialists and traders to explore leading edge industrial products, technology and business opportunities which are new to the Middle East.
'The State of Baden-Württemberg,' Mr. Muller continued, 'is noted for its innovativeness and technology with global companies such as Daimler-Benz, Bosch and Porsche headquartered there. The State's economic strength is in part due to the hundreds of small and medium-sized businesses that manufacture highly specialised products which are in demand all over the world.'
The Buyer-Sellers Meet will be held in conjunction with the Middle East Industrial Show (MEIS) which will take place at Expo Centre Sharjah from 19-22 October 2003. MEIS integrates five industrial categories, viz. Fluid Control, Welding & Cutting, Test and Instrumentation, Factory Equipment, and Industrial Safety. The synergy of these two events will further enrich the visiting experience of attendees.
