Commencing October 20th the e-business specialist will host two daily tours through out the duration of Gitex. The morning session will run from 9.30 am until 10.30 am with the afternoon session starting at 1.30 pm and finishing at 2.30 pm. 'The data cetres in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the engine rooms driving Comtrust's extensive e-business solutions portfolio and form the backbone of Comtrust's services,' explained Comtrust's General Manager, Ahmad Abdulkarim Julfar. 'These visits will give IT professionals a great snap shot of the latest technology powering Middle East's e-business.'
Comtrust's data centres house mission critical applications of numerous organisations in both private and public sectors, in addition to running Comtrust services. The facilities at the centres have been designed to deliver the maximum physical and virtual protection available today.
With redundancy being a key word, duplication can be found at all levels - equipment, network, electricity. Added to this each site, in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, mirrors the other enabling operations to continue in the event of a crisis at one site.
Comtrust data centers are supported 24x7x365 by highly trained and competent engineers, whose sole concern is keeping the customer satisfaction levels high.
'For most of us. Our involvement in the virtual world begins and ends at a computer. It is not often that many IT professionals view the infrastructure behind the web page. I am sure visitors will find the tours both informative and interesting,' concluded Julfar.
