Wireline Engineering appoints new Middle East, Asia and Australia divisional sales manager

Wireline Engineering has increased its commitment to its Asia-Pacific customers by appointing a new divisional sales manager to the region.
Bill Petrie, managing director of Wireline Engineering, said, "Richard brings a wealth of experience and tremendous energy and to our Asia Pacific operations. He has worked in a number of challenging international locations and has a great track record of delivering results and supporting his customers."
He added, "His appointment and presence in the region will definitely add to our ability to support both well owners and service providers in the wireline and well intervention sectors. We look forward to expanding our presence there and in other key markets with further recruitment currently underway to strengthen our global sales team."
Mr Jackson brings over 16 years of proven expertise within the oil service sector, including seven years offshore rig experience in drilling, ESP completion, drill stem testing and onshore drilling engineering.
Speaking about his appointment, Mr Jackson said, "The Middle Eastern, Asian and Australian markets offer a fantastic opportunity for us to further highlight our great product offering. Clients are more operationally focused on cost these days, and our products work to reduce cost and mitigate risk within the intervention market."
"We have a strong team in place that serves the client base from our regional offices in Abu Dhabi and Kuala Lumpur. I look forward to adding further personnel as our activities expand," he added.
Wireline Engineering develops original well intervention technologies for the oil and gas industry worldwide and currently works with more than 200 customers in more than 50 countries.
The company was established in 1998 and its headquarters are located in Aberdeen, Scotland. It has international offices in the Americas, Middle East and Far East and employs 50 people worldwide.
