Intertec to hold one-day exhibition-seminar to mark corporate re-launch

The event will be inaugurated by Salem Khamis Al Shair, Director, e-Services, UAE, who is the chief guest. Al Shair is also the first of the seminar speakers - his presentation titled 'e, i and us'. Among the other speakers are Ahmed Kajoor, IT Under Secretary, Ministry of Labour, whose topic is 'Electronic Government', and Ayman Abouseif, Sr. Marketing Director, ECEMEA, Oracle Corporation, who will be discussing Oracle partners initiatives.

Other speakers in the morning session include Assistant Director General, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohammed A. Kanfash Al Neaimi, whose topic is 'ADCCI: Employing IT to benefit Chamber members', Dr. Ali Guidoum, IT Divisional Manager, ADNOC Distribution, who will be discussing the contact center solutions, Charles Ashman, ESSBU Manager, HP, whose subject is 'Adaptive Infrastructure', and Tim Scott, Regional Sales Manager, Commercial Markets, GCC, Cisco Systems, who will be speaking on network convergence.

Among the speakers of the afternoon session are John Foster, Technical Consultant, SUN, whose topic is 'Low Cost Computing', and Raed Hajarat, Product Manager, Oracle, with his presentation entitled: 'Oracle Application Server - The Architecture for Success'.

Towards the end of the afternoon session, Simon Moxam, Channel Manager, SurfControl, will present web and e-mail filtering solutions, R. Ramakrishnan, Product Manager (IT Security), Intertec Systems, will discuss lifecycle security, and Saju Jacob, Commercial Manager, Qualpro, will discuss 'Supply Chain Management' solution from Intertec.

Naresh Kothari, Managing Director, Intertec Systems, will be making a presentation on the company's products and solutions in both the morning and afternoon sessions. The corporate re-launch event of October 12 marks a turning point in Intertec System's 12 -year plus history as the company enters a period of consolidation and marches ahead for global expansion.

Intertec group, which is focussed on delivering high-quality products, solutions and services in many critical domains, aims to establish a network of distributors/re-sellers for Intertec's application software and IT solutions business. The company is already in the process ofappointing resellers and distributors in Bahrain and Qatar, before expanding to more GCC countries.
