Exact Software targets knowledge intensive industries in the Middle East

The company, which is taking part in the show for the first time, aims to meet with new customers from knowledge intensive industries as part of its strategy to expand its hold on the region's ERP software sector.

"Since the launch of our Dubai office in October 2002, Exact Software Middle East has witnessed explosive growth in demand for our breakthrough technology, One-X," said Nizar Badwan, general manager, Exact Software Middle East.

"Taking part in Gitex provides us with the opportunity to meet with major players from various sectors. During the show, we will be paying a significant amount of attention to decision-makers from information-heavy organizations from industries such as legal practices, accounting firms and design houses," added Badwan.

"Our focus will be on these knowledge intensive industries because they are currently responsible for the drive in ERP adoption in the Middle East."

Solutions on Show
During Gitex, the company will demonstrate the capabilities of its fully integrated solution to decision-makers from its base in Hall 5 at stand T5-3. Products on display will include Exact Globe 2003 and Exact e-Synergy which are new products launched by Exact based on Exact's revolutionary One-X concept.

"Our solution, which is fully Arabized, allows an organization to manage its entire business enterprise system from a single integrated database," said Badwan.

The One-X concept is said to guarantee that information is always available at the right place and right time, anywhere and anytime. By deploying a single database platform for all business processes, information is not duplicated, data entry is reduced and users are assured of data integrity. This in turn gives organizations better information, increases efficiency and allows a strong platform for the introduction of a web-based front-office application, which can be used throughout the organization.

"Our solutions help streamline business processes within all types of organizations and provide productivity gains. Demonstrating what Exact is capable of at Gitex, educates the market about how our software can help companies manage their growth more effectively," added Badwan.

To discuss the merits of Exact's software with the region's decision-makers, the company will host seven high-level executives, headed by Raj S Patel, managing director of Exact International BV, from the company's international headquarters.

At Gitex, Patel will meet one-on-one with potential customers and business partners. "This is the first chance we have had to take part in Gitex, and we see it as the ideal opportunity for making new in-roads with business leaders," said Badwan. "By bringing senior members of our team to the show we are demonstrating our company's firm commitment to the Middle East."

Global customers of Exact Software solutions include Siemens, L'Oreal, Eli Lilly, DAF Trucks and Caterpillar.
