Opening the Premium 2003 international trade fair for incentives, giftware, corporate gifts, festive decorations and stationery at the Airport Expo Dubai today, Al Ghurair said the emirate's strategic location was only one fact in the corporate success equation.
'Yes we have the right location, but other facets which are attracting companies to establish corporate offices here are the fact that Dubai is safe and secure and has all the right facilities, in terms of communications and vital services,' he said.
Al Ghurair toured the show, which runs until Tuesday night, stopping at many of the over 60 stands on display.
'This show is developing annually and the fact that Dubai also hosts some of the region's major events and festivals has increased demand for many of the types of product on display here,' he added.
Premium 2003, which is organised by Channels Exhibitions, features exhibitors from 14 countries as national pavilions from Taiwan and China.
Dubai becoming Mid East's corporate hub, says Al Ghurair
