New York's Turner Construction selects Timberline's estimating for its 44 offices

Turner will employ Timberline's Estimating software in its 44 offices that serve construction markets worldwide.

Timberline is the leading supplier of dedicated Construction Estimating and Accounting Software, as shown in a 2002 Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) survey. Timberline is represented in the Middle East by Orbit Middle East.

Turner's selection of Timberline will enable the company's project staff to work from a single estimating platform, integrating data and experience from the network of 44 Turner offices and experience in all major segments of the market. "Our decision was that this was the most appropriate and flexible software for our wide variety of work and unique needs," said Almstead.

Almstead notes that Timberline's abilities will assist Turner in key areas, including developing a greater consistency in reporting and presentation, improving efficiencies across the company, and enabling a greater level of data sharing among Turner's national network. As important, Turner's individual approach to each client is based on the company's breadth of experience and depth of historical data. With Timberline, the collective estimating data can be captured and archived for future use.
