While the rest of world continues to address harsh economic conditions, Qatar's booming economy paves the way for one of the world's largest market research groups, Ipsos, to continue expanding its network across the Middle East and North Africa and open offices in Qatar.
With Qatar's market expanding at a rapid rate, the launch is very timely as Ipsos finds the demand for market research on the increase as companies seek to assess new frontiers to grow their businesses beyond Qatar.
Ipsos experts analyze the subtle differences between individuals to produce accurate snapshots of their expectations, motivations and intentions as citizen-consumers.
Ipsos has been operating across the Middle East and North Africa since 1988.
Since then, Ipsos MENA has grown to have more than 800 dynamic full time professional researchers and specialized analysts providing clients with value-added market insight.
To meet clients' expectations as accurately as possible, Ipsos organized business into six specialisations - advertising research, marketing research, media monitoring and research, opinion and social research, quality and customer relationship management research and operations (data collection and delivery).
Concentrating on these specializations means that Ipsos gains an intimate understanding of their clients' brands, customers and marketplace.
Qatar's prominent economy has been characterized as one of unabated growth. Ipsos's presence in Qatar will help to support companies fulfill their desires to expand worldwide by providing them with vital market intelligence on new markets.
As successful investors in Qatar's growing economy, Bader Darwish, Chairman of Darwish Holding, said, "We believe that market research services are a necessity for the continuing development of Qatar's economy. This is why we have joined forces with Ipsos, a leader in its field, to bring valuable market insights to Qatar's business community."
Ipsos's success in Qatar has already been established as the company provides several big clients with market intelligence services.
This success encouraged Ipsos to form a joint venture with Darwish Holding to open its first office in Doha, headed by Elie Nawar, Ipsos Qatar Managing Director.
Edouard Monin, Chairman & CEO of Ipsos MENA, said, "We are delighted to launch our co-venture with our partner Darwish Holding to open a fully fledged research company in Doha. We are confident that our new operation here will help existing companies in Qatar to expand their business and be more successful. In addition, we are targeting emerging establishments to help them thrive in Qatar's business landscape through offering them incisive evaluation of their target markets."
