Peribit brings new breakthrough network performance technology to Gitex 2003
- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, October 15 - 2003 at 13:40
- PRESS RELEASE
Peribit Networks, the leader in instant WAN capacity and application acceleration, is bringing its latest technology to Gitex 2003, as part of its campaign to help companies in the Middle East get their most from their communication infrastructures.
"Our technology may sound complicated, but the advantages for business in the region are easy to understand," said Shane Buckley, president, Europe, Middle East, & Africa (EMEA), Peribit Networks. "It identifies data flow and pattern similarities across WANs, and then enables companies to reduce useless, repetitive data, cutting down on the time it takes to complete a transmission by as much as 70 percent or more."
"Essentially, Peribit provides companies with the means to exploit the full capacity of their existing networks, so that managers who are trying to smooth the operation of their networks don't have to invest in expensive upgrades to achieve their objectives," added Buckley.
The Middle East is recognized as a prime market for Peribit, as growing numbers of enterprises are looking for ways to improve the productivity of their networks and manage the significant volume of information generated by their day-to-day business operations.
A number of leading organizations in the region have invested in Peribit solutions, ranging from government agencies in the UAE to financial institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and executives at Peribit are confident that Gitex 2003 will generate further interest in the value and savings associated with their technology.
"Peribit is bringing our latest and most effective technology to Gitex 2003, and - given the pressures that many companies are facing in trying to leverage full value from their network - we're confident that we have a lot to offer for visitors to this year's event," commented John Rea, regional director, Peribit Networks.
As well as demonstrations of their new products, Peribit experts will be on stand to discuss how their solutions can maximize the efficiency and impact of the operations of organizations in the government, defense, energy, telecoms and retail sectors.
Peribit Technology uses the computational techniques deployed in the analysis of DNA sequences, and applies them to discover repeated patterns in network traffic. This pioneering approach forms the basis of Peribit's Molecular Sequence Reduction technology, which has generated international recognition for its impact on companies' network activities.
