It is estimated that Al Manahij education channel will reach more than eight million students across the Arab world.

"We are delighted at the excellent response to our sponsorship of ART's Al Manahij channel that is aimed at enhancing the level of education for Arab students," said Omar Salem, Marketing Manager of Master Foods Middle East, makers of Snickers®. "The decision to make the channel free-to-air this year was timed to coincide with the study period before the midterm exams. This was to allow students to take advantage of the high quality education programs broadcast by the channel and to be better equipped when sitting their exams."

Highlighting the benefits of making Al Manahij available to Arab students and their parents, Nabil Al-Hammad, General Director of Al Manhij channel, said "Both the content and the format of the programs broadcast by Al Manahij are designed to present the educational information in the most attractive way possible. The use of illustrations, graphics, dramatics, and discussion platforms brings the information to life and makes it easier for students to relate to the subject matter and assimilate its educational value. Thanks to the generosity of Snickers® this valuable learning tool is now available to a wider audience of Arab students."

Khaled Al Kaf, Commercial Manager of Master Foods GCC added, "In the ten years since Master Foods established manufacturing facilities in the region, the company has launched many programs that directly benefit the communities it serves. This latest initiative is our second cooperation with ART, following the spectacular success of the second round of the Snickers® Football Tournament that was broadcast by Al Manahij."

Master Foods also recently launched the Master Foods Academic Excellence Award as part of its strategy to play a positive role in the educational sector. The program is now in a pilot stage and will be rolled out across the Middle East.
