The company, which is taking part in the event for the first time, is the first branded company to take a stand at the show dedicated solely to educating visitors about its products.

"We have invested in a 'showcase' stand at Computer Shopper to display our technology to show attendees and to provide extra support to our distributors," said Robert Dung, managing director, BenQ Middle East.

"At the BenQ stand, products from our Joybook, LCD monitor and projector ranges will be on display. There will also be BenQ employees who can explain the merits of our innovative technology to visitors."

The BenQ stand, at F5, at Gitex Computer Shopper, which is more than 40 square meters in size, has been designed to attract visitors wanting to find out more about BenQ's range of products.

Attendees at the show, which is being held from October 18 to 24, can purchase BenQ products through any of the company's distributors taking part in the show. BenQ's distributors exhibiting at Gitex Computer Shopper include Trigon, Quality, Audiviz Technologies and Jacky's Electronics.

"BenQ's aim is to continue growing its market share in the Middle East at a significant rate, and to meet this aim we have been committed to introducing a stream of new products to the market," said Dung.

"With a strong array of products on offer, we believed it was necessary for us to invest in a dedicated stand for displaying our products. This way, we are assisting our distributor partners by sharing the load of customer-service."

Impressive Prices On Digital Lifestyle Products
New products on display at BenQ's Gitex Computer Shopper stand include the Joybook 8000, Joybook 5000 and Joybook 3000, as well as the latest LCD TVs, LCD monitors, digital projectors, and digital cameras.
