Jacky's expand presence at GITEX

The four Jacky's business units participating in GITEX include Jacky's Retail, Office Automation and Security Products divisions and the Digital Printing Division.

At GITEX this year the Digital Printing Division will be showcasing their Spinjet 5500 solution which is developed by Danish company, Techsage. The Spinjet is designed to work the hp Designjet 5500 family of large format printers and allows the hp printers to give double-sided prints for imposition proofing or for the signage market. With increased use of POP displays and the growing exhibition graphics market, the Spinjet 5500 provides an easy, convenient way to prepare double-sided prints up to 60 inches in width with excellent photo quality printing that hp is known for. This solution will be displayed on the hp stand during GITEX.

The centerpiece of Jacky's Office Automation and Security Products showing at GITEX is the latest version of the Iris recognition system by Senex and the world's top security shredders. The Iris recognition system is one of the safest and most secure access control systems in the world today because the Iris unlike the retina, doesn't change during the course of a person's life. The Iris recognition system can be used in high security environments such as banks, data centres and defense installations. This system can also be used in conjunction with more everyday applications such as ATM machines and Airport Immigration Departments as well.

The EBA triple C shredder, meanwhile, is at the top security level - level six - and includes models EBA-1124CCC and EBA-2026CCC. Both meet the United States Department of Defense requirement of particle size of less than 5mm2.

The EBA - 7050-2C, a huge 5CBM industrial shredder will also be displayed during GITEX. This shredder has got the ability to shred an entire box file with the metal clamps at a rate of 700 pages at a time. Jacky's, which is also presenting the complete series of note counters from Magner including Mag75, a Euro compliant note counter.

Jacky's Retail, whose participation in the Computer Shopper has grown four times larger than the previous year, through tie-ups with major vendors, will be offering premier brands at competitive prices. Among the products being offered are laptops, from HP Compaq, Toshiba, Acer, and LG, peripherals from HP and Canon, PDAs - including Palm, iMate and iPaq, cameras from HP, Olympus and Samsung, TFT monitors and LCD television sets from LG and Samsung, projectors from BenQ, Epson and Toshiba and accessories from Targus and Creative.
