Wipro showcases business focused IT solutions at the region's largest IT event

With the theme, "the work we do works for you", Wipro aims to drive home the message that technology is a key enabler for businesses to be more effective and profitable. The company is showcasing its entire suite of business-enabling technology solutions at a special pavilion in Hall 8.

Elaborating on the company's theme, Mr. Neeraj Jaitley, General Manager, Marketing, Business Development and Corporate Affairs, Wipro, said, "Through a combination of experienced experts, proven project management skills and a mature global delivery model, we offer IT solutions that work hard for our customers."

Mr. Syed Mansoor Ahmad, General Manager, Middle East operations, Wipro, added, "The Middle East is a fast growing and significant IT services market and we are focused on providing value-based solutions in the region. We understand the key requirements of our customers' businesses and offer relevant technology to provide the results they expect."

The solutions that are being demonstrated at Gitex include Flow briX, a patented framework that automates the complex workflow in publishing, Wipro eHelpline, a web based call management software package and Wipro eAsset, an IT asset Management tool. Wipro is also showcasing its Total IT Outsourcing, IT Consulting and e-sourcing offerings.

This is the second year of Wipro's participation at Gitex. Outlining the importance of such events, Mr. Jaitley added, "Forums such as Gitex are world class platforms to demonstrate our expertise to our customers and help them perform better."

Wipro has built a strong customer base in the UAE since the start of its operations. They include Dubai eGovernment, Dubai Dry Docks, Dubai Municipality, and eHosting DataFort.

Wipro launched its Middle East operations in early 2001 in Dubai Internet City and since then, has expanded its business across the Middle East to include Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait. Wipro has continued to provide high value-added IT Services and Solutions including Infrastructure Management Services, IT Outsourcing, Consulting, Software and e-procurement services to organisations throughout the Middle East.
