EPSON showcases groundbreaking printing and scanning technology at GITEX Dubai

The line-up includes a wide range of printers, scanners, digital cameras, multimedia projects, mono lasers and multi-function office devices.

Taking the centre-stage at the elegant EPSON stand will be the range of Stylus home and office printers, and new generation DURABrite printers that produce long-lasting prints on plain, glossy or recycled paper.

"All of EPSON's achievements in its core speciality of digital imaging solutions will be showcased at GITEX. In the past few years, EPSON has pioneered innovative hi-tech products that have not only raised standards but also brought cost-effectiveness to the consumer market. Our GITEX stand brings under one roof, some of the most remarkable digital imaging products of recent times, indicating the leadership role we have played in this field since we invented the first commercially successful printer more than three decades ago," said Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager, Epson Middle East.

EPSON's leading edge products will be showcased at an attractive stand divided into nine zones. Five of these will be dedicated to inkjet printers, photo printers, large format printers, mono & colour lasers and dot matrix printers, celebrating the theme "Colour your Life" through products that have enhanced colour printing and made them affordable to the home user.

"The Colour your Life" theme has been created to celebrate EPSON's leadership in simplifying and enriching colour printing for different segments of users. Our theme for GITEX Dubai demonstrates why organisations across the region rely on EPSON products, be it high-speed laser or inkjet printers, digital cameras that link directly to the photo printer, scanner or big-screen projectors," added El Dalu.

Among the products highlighted at the stand will be the Stylus range of home and office printers that produce high quality smudge-proof prints at the touch of a button, such as Stylus C63 and the Stylus C84 designed for the small and home office. The C84 has printing speeds up to 22 ppm black text and 12 ppm colour. Also on view will be the Stylus Photo R300 which offers a premium photo printing solution for semi-professional photographers and photo enthusiasts.

In the scanner range, the Perfection 1670 delivers high quality image, fast scanning speeds and high quality scans from positive and negative film. The Perfection 3170 Photo, on the other hand, caters to the photo and film scanning needs of the photo enthusiast and serious scanning user. It offers an extremely high resolution of 3200 dpi, thanks to the Matrix CCD and revolutionary micro-lens, coupled with USB 2.0 high-speed connectivity.

Also on view will be the new multi-function devices that merge scanning, printing and copying into one single device allowing high speech four colour printing, a scanning revolution of up to 1200 x 2400 dpi and standalone copying even when the computer is switched off.
