Ideal for small & medium businesses and home users, the new digital cordless phones unfold exciting new applications for more effective communication, allowing all members of an office or home to stay connected while using the handset for other, independent functions.
The GIGARANGE Expandable model KX-TG2770 allows multiple users to access an incoming call without taking the handset of the person called. It also offers multi-tasking capabilities, allowing each user to use their handset for a different function simultaneously. Other attractive features of this model is the networking of up to eight handsets, five-way conference calling, an all-digital answering system, walkie-talkie, caller ID and digital duplex speakerphones.
'Panasonic's core philosophy of making communication simple and user-friendly is reflected in the GIGARANGE cordless phones. We have introduced newer features using leading edge technology and innovations created by our team of researchers,' said Shigeru Uno, General Manager, System Sales Dept., Panasonic Marketing Middle East FZE. 'Globally, the market for digital cordless phones is expanding rapidly. Middle East being no exception, we have targeted it as one of our key growth areas. As part of that strategy, we will be showcasing the latest state of the art digital cordless phones at GITEX Dubai, to allow customers in the region to experience first-hand the benefits of our new-age communication instruments.'
GITEX Dubai visitors will have the opportunity to see some of the amazing new functions of the GIGARANGE digital phones. For example, the top-range model KX-TG2260 offers a Talking Caller ID facility that announces the caller's name in between rings, using the text-to-speech technology. It is also fitted with a Voice Enhancer Technology which creates a frequency bandwidth similar to that of the original voice improving the sound quality.
Panasonic will also be displaying the mid-range Digital Enhanced Cordless Phones at GITEX Dubai, including the KX-TCD510 and KX-TCD500. These instruments offer attractive features like Caller ID through different LED (light emitting diode) colours and specific ringer toners, Caller ID Memory of fifty entries, digital answering system of up to eighteen minutes, thirty-two polyphonic ring tones and multiple handsets capability. Panasonic has equipped both telephones with a six-line display featuring blue lighting, which even makes navigating through the menu per joystick just the right thing. The T9 text input also provides an especially convenient style of assistance for an 'input'. Even those who have their hands full can still find their ideal telephone conversation partner in the very best digital quality thanks to the headset connection and the hands-free speaking function.
'Our Middle East customers have shown a high degree of loyalty to Panasonic cordless phones. We are therefore happy to offer them exciting new applications, both home and office use, including the Walkie-Talkie facility in which two handsets can communicate in the walkie-talkie mode by bypassing the base unit and allowing incoming calls to get through,' said Uno.
Panasonic will be participating in Dubai Gitex 2003, along with its UAE sole distributor Panatech Engineering and Oman National Electronics, part of the Al Futtaim Group.
