HP brings Pavilion notebooks and desktops to the Middle East

Today, at the opening of Gitex Shopper, HP launched for the first time the latest Pavilion notebooks and desktop PCs.

The introduction of the HP Pavilion zt3000 and zd7000 notebook PCs and the HP Pavilions t360.me and a320.me PCs went on display. The HP Pavilion zt3000 provides the consumer with higher resolution display, wide screen technology and extra flexibility for the user with high capacity hard drives, integrated SD/MC slot, a DVD-R/RW combo drive and maximum mobile performance with Intel Centrino mobile technology.

The HP Pavilion zd7000 enhances the consumer's working or leisure environment with high-performance wireless connectivity, and integrates digital entertainment, photography and internet computing into a sophisticated design with desktop comfort.

The Pavilion t360.me provides the consumer with ultra flexibility and high power at their fingertips. As part of the Photo PC series, HP provides HP-unique, easy-to-use, integrated software suite for organising, fixing, sharing, printing, and storing photos and video clips. With Hyperthreading technology, which allows two programmes to run concurrently so that users will now be able to edit a family video into DVD movie effortlessly whilst playing a game.

The HP Pavilion a320.me is designed as an entry-level home PC for all the family - from children to grandparents, first time users to computer enthusiasts. The Pavillion a320.me complements HP's family of imaging products, offering customers a complete home computing solution.
Opening at the Gitex Shopper are some of the largest promotional offers for customers attending the event from 18-24 October 2003. Visitors to the Shopper will be the first to view HPs latest products, as well as getting an opportunity to try many of the new and exciting products for digital imaging, photography and much more.

"Anytime and anywhere' computing will constitute a key market driver for every business, and customers will increasingly demand that their notebook PCs offer the same performance and features as a desktop PC in order to fully experience the digital entertainment," said Christoph Schell, General Manager for Personal Systems Group, HP Middle East. "These two new notebooks will provide our customers with stunning displays to increase their user experience when playing games, deliver a clear, crisp picture for organising, editing and viewing digital images and photos."

Both the HP Pavilion zt3000 and zd7000 have integrated digital media slots to conveniently move digital content such as photos and music between various peripheral devices and notebook PCs. HP will have a dominating presence at PlugIns, Jumbo, Jacky's and CompuME, where dedicated staff members are available to visitors who wish to discuss their different requirements and the best possible solutions available. HP/Compaq products will be easy to find, as special areas have been set-aside on each stand for the product range.

During Gitex Shopper, HP will be distributing special 'goodies' with any purchase of an HP/Compaq product. Also available, will be exclusive promotions on imaging and printing solutions and digital photography. These include Ikea vouchers, Discount Coupons, DVDs, USB Drives, Sport Watches, SD Cards and much, much more.
