Citrix and IBM deliver a total solution

Citrix Systems Inc. (Citrix), the global leader in access infrastructure solutions, today announced its cooperation with IBM in the Middle East to deliver server consolidation, application deployment and access solutions to enterprises regionally.

Citrix and IBM latest Blades servers together offer a truly unique solution - a solid Architecture foundation to achieve new challenges for IT managers like Application consolidation to the DataCenter on Powerful IBM servers, Application deployment from central location to remote sites, Windows Application Webification and Application Business continuity," said Antoine Aguado, Citrix Systems Middle East Regional Manager.
Citrix can also enrich and increase the number of applications available for the Websphere users by allowing any legacy, Windows Client-Server applications to be instantly webified without having to re-write a single line of code and increase path to E business in any IT Organisation.
"We finally have a strong channel partner community in the region, which does pre sales, sales, marketing and post sales support to bring complete Citrix On Demand solutions to our customers, and IBM and Citrix offer a solution you can rely on, plus access to the expertise and knowledge you need," Aguado added.

Citrix Middle East will be participating alongside IBM in GITEX Dubai 2003 to launch its new Infrastructure Access Suite including MetaFrame XP Secure Access Manager 2.0, Conferencing Manager 2.0 and MetaFrame XP Presentation Server for Windows FR3 and Passport Manager 2.0. GITEX Dubai 2003 is taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre's (DWTC's) Dubai International Exhibition Centre from 19-23 October 2003 and will be open from 10am until 7pm. The IBM stand is located in Hall 3, stand C3-1.
