  • PRESS RELEASE

Taking advantage of Oracle's newly introduced E-Business Suite Special Edition (EBSE) for small and medium size customers, Mindscape has packaged a special fixed scope, fixed price implementation deal for thin users that offers them an affordable, rapid, flexible and low-risk solution to their process management requirements.

EBSE allows a sophisticated, integrated management of processes in administration, accounts receivables and payables, and inventory management. Apart from increasing company efficiency and productivity, EBSE improves decision making thanks to the advanced reporting option, which transforms raw data into useful management information.

"Our 'fixed scope, fixed price' solution for the first time enables small and medium-sized businesses in the Middle East to reap the competitive advantages of the Oracle E-Business Suite in affordable, modular packages," said Mohamed Fouz, CEO of Mindscape.

Fixed scope, fixed price is an increasingly popular trend in the West that enables small and medium-sized companies to implement the most crucial Oracle applications for their industry at a cut down price by limiting the degree of customisation. This enables them to get started using Oracle modules quickly, with the flexibility to add further modules and increase customisation as warranted.

These critical requirements are configured so that they can be deployed out-of-the-box with minimum effort, time and money, and achieve predictable results across financial, human resources, projects, sales and marketing, service and supply chain management.

"By leveraging business flow templates and pre-configured functionality for relevant industries such as banking, manufacturing and retail, Mindscape is able to offer state-of-the-art Oracle E-Business applications quickly and cost effectively to a wide variety of small to mid size organizations in the region," said Fouz.

"This shift in Oracle strategy will enable hundreds of smaller organizations in the Middle East to afford and rapidly reap the benefits enjoyed by the majority of larger enterprises who use Oracle applications," added Sohail Khan, Vice President of Sales and marketing at Mindscape.

Husam Dajani, Vice President for the Middle East- Oracle Corporation, said: "The big advantage for small and mid range customers is that they can leverage Mindscape's experience in configuring pre-defined business flows to meet key business requirements relevant to their industry, with the provision to add more flows as their business grows."
