In the speech, Sulayem covered topics such as the growth in population and change in demographics; returns on investment opportunities; legislation and real estate laws; impact of freehold property on the rental market; how the market is going to react; and the success so far - especially with regard to Nakheel's properties.
Nakheel is also participating in the Cityscape Dubai 2003 Exhibition and is showcasing the full breadth of its stand-alone projects, which range from developments like The Palm where the extraordinary becomes the possible, to projects that emphasize community living at affordable prices like The Gardens.
Cityscape Dubai 2003 incorporates an exhibition and conference and focuses on international commercial architecture, property investment and development. The event continues until 20 October 2003 at the new Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai.
