Rashid Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum marks launch of WASEL4me by becoming first to order at GITEX

WASEL4me enables customers to choose their own WASEL4me mobile number and have it delivered to them anywhere in the Emirates through a new partnership deal with Empost.

A selection of more than 60,000 WASEL4me numbers will be made available. Customers can choose up to three at a time simply by logging onto Etisalat's online business centre - www.etisalat4me.ae or by calling the Etisalat Contact Centre dedicated number on 7000-11111.

Each WASEL4me number chosen costs Dhs. 200, which includes the SIM card, one year's WASEL rental and the home delivery. Customers can either pay securely online using Comtrust's ePayment Gateway ensuring fast and secure payment transactions using a Visa or Mastercard credit card or they can pay cash on delivery when their SIM card arrives at any address specified when ordering the service.

"We launched etisalat4me, our online business centre, only two years ago and already more than 65,000 customers use this for the convenience of paying their bills at anytime through multi-channel access," commented Mohammed Al Fahim, Executive Vice President, Marketing at Etisalat.

"We want to encourage our customers to register for this service and see exciting services such as WASEL4ME as a compelling incentive for them to interact with Etisalat remotely," he added. "Customer service is a priority for us and we feel we are making tremendous enhancements all the time."

Another advantage of the WASEL4me GSM card is that they have 32 kilobytes (Kb) of memory. This extra capacity brings enhanced phone book features including the ability to store up to 350 numbers, a SIM tool kit, which enables easy WASEL recharging, and simple configuration for GPRS and WAP via easy to follow menus in English.

To order a personalised SIM card for home delivery, customers must register by logging onto www.etisalat4me.ae and filling out their subscription details. Registered subscribers can then search for their favourite number. The website will show the numbers available in batches of 150 numbers at a time. Customers then pick the numbers they want up to a maximum of three at a time and select their payment options.

Alternatively, customers can dial the WASEL4me dedicated number 7000-11111. An automated Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system, in Arabic and English, will guide customers through the process of selecting their own number using the numeric keypad.
