2nd International Kite Festival paints Dubai sky with colors

The highlight of this event was the giant animal themed and colorful Kite exhibition showcasing unique handmade Kites from different countries around the world dotting Dubai sky with vivid and bright creations.

Kite Sri Lanka Organization from SriLanka, Team Mangalore from India, Buhamad Kite Team from Kuwait and Kite Life Foundation from India flew their massive kites showing off their skills while general crowd was also participating in the kite flying with their own kites.

Starting from 10 am the Kite making workshop was attracting lots of crowd followed by stage performance by cultural teams from different countries.

Souq Bazaar was a great success having local talent showcasing handmade artworks, accessories, gifts and much more. The crowd was entertained by Dubai Drums group performance while the Camel & Horse riding, Dune Buggies and play riders, massive bouncing castles were the fun activity attracted Kids and families.

Kite fight was one of the attractions of the day where everyone flying their kites participates in a kite fight competition and the last kite standing win exciting prizes which created a great excitement amongst the public flying kites. Kite experts were giving tips and tricks to the participants how to fly a kite and also teach kids to make and fly their very own kites.

The day was filled with family festive fun, Music by famous DJ, Dubai Drumming, kids' entertainment & playing area, international food stalls, souq market and much more.
