- PRESS RELEASE
Workplains Ltd., a provider of business process automation solutions, has chosen GITEX 2003 as the platform to launch its Middle East operations.
Market research indicating the maturity of the Middle East's IT sector in recent years prompted Workplains to invest directly in the region. While the region has witnessed an increasing demand for ERP solutions, from SME's, analysis conducted by the company revealed that many smaller organizations are shying away from ERP based on lengthy deployment times and the associated costs.
"Business leaders here understand the benefits of having an ERP solution but they are wary about making the investment based on the time it takes to deploy the solution as well as the costs and the complexity of operating it," said Ahsan Rashid, business development director, Workplains Ltd.
"Given that it is common practice for SME's to have staff with a number of roles, not just one area of responsibility, our easy-to-use and simple to implement solution means that a great number of employees can begin benefiting more quickly from Workplains ERP offerings," added Rashid. "After all ERP is simply a business process management system that automates the many different tasks normally performed manually by various employees throughout an entire organisation. It cuts down on the unnecessary production of paper and often the subsequent loss of data while simultaneously providing management immediate access to all their information requirements".
In the Middle East, Workplains has appointed CAD Gulf as its regional reseller. The range of ERP modules offered by Workplains includes solutions for business process management and automation, which are suitable for any industry sector ranging from financial services to health care and retail.
Customers that have implemented Workplains' ERP solution have achieved productivity gains of more than 40 percent along with reduced costs and enhanced customer service.
With organizations across the Middle East experiencing strong levels of growth, scalability is a key strength of Workplains' offering. "Businesses in the Middle East are enjoying a boom period in terms of development, and this level of growth is expected to continue," said Rashid. "Customers who implement our ERP solution can be confident that the solution will expand to manage more of their processes in line with their company's growth."
Workplains recognizes that customers in the Middle East have many ERP options to choose from but none of them are as easy to implement, use and manage as its own.
"Business leaders in the Middle East want to benefit from technology but they do not want their employees to be distracted from their core competencies. By selecting an easy to use ERP solution, decision-makers can enjoy the benefits that automation delivers."
