Dedicated Micros Middle East and Access Communications Systems to announce their business alliance for the Middle East region at DIC Community Zone at GITEX Dubai 2003
At GITEX 2003, Dedicated Micros is also launching its latest DV-IP(Digital Video with Internet Protocol). The addition of DV-IP to their award-winning video management product line will enable masses to use simple IP transmission solution for networking of video for security and management control.
The DV-IP is a network video server that provides live video, playback and backup images, alarm monitoring, Webcam Internet imagery and simultaneous secure transmission over Ethernet, ISDN and PSTN.
The unit is a combination digital video multiplexing recorder, a network server that transmits live and recorded images and audio, and a web server that supports Telnet, FTP, HTTP.
"The DV-IP is an enterprise solution for VARs, network integrators, IT consultants and endusers who want to directly integrate it into the enduser's local or wide area network," said Salim Idris, Sales Director of DM Middle East.
It is ideal for customers that require video security management, either locally or remotely. The DV-IP automatically transmits alarm notification from all cameras to a designated PC over a single IP address. Events can be automatically transferred via FTP to a central server. The unit is available with up to 16 camera inputs and up to 600GB internal storage. It can record up to 60 pictures per second, and offers selectable duplex audio recording and transmission.
With the ability to capture transaction data from ATM(Automatic Teller Machines) and EPOS(Electronic Point of Sales) information, DV-IP offers a comprehensive security solution for Banks and Retail outlets. Search can be conducted from transaction data to play back associated video that provide detailed information of a particular incident or operation.
With a true plug-and-play setup the future just got brighter for network video management and digital CCTV integrated with multi-media solution.
