GITEX: Emirates Internet & Multimedia
Etisalat's internet division, EIM, is demonstrating new wireless hotspots at GITEX. They're seen as way to provide broadband to parts of the UAE that existing networks don't reach. EIM believes content, especially Arabic content, is they key to driving broadband useage both in the UAE and regionally.
