The innovative mobile phone is equipped with a night-shot mode to take pictures in a no-light room and also features a multi-shot mode allowing a user to take up to 15 frames in a single click without compromising the picture quality.

'The E-700 is a next-generation product which incorporates a flash for taking pictures under unfavourable light conditions and will open up a completely new experience for consumers and facilitate greater expression in peer to peer communication,' Mr. Han added.
Samsung, the region's number two mobile phone brand, also disclosed its plans to launch a slew of new mobile phones, including the much-awaited PDA phone by the first quarter of 2004 in the Middle East. The MMS-enabled PDA phone is based on Palm OS 5.2 platform, and is powered with an extensive range of features including a built-in 330K pixel flash camera, 32MB RAM memory, JAVA capabilities, WAP 2.0 browser, 40-polyphonic ringtones, and a 65000-colour TFT-LCD screen.

Recently Samsung raised its outlook for the global mobile handsets market as demand far outstripped supply and inventory levels of the company were at its lowest in half a decade. The company claimed that its new range of colour screen handsets with built-in cameras and other attractive features had turned the usually slow third quarter of 2003 into an outstanding period.
