- PRESS RELEASE
The Hayati portal, meaning "my life" in Arabic, will enable Etisalat's customers to personalise their online and mobile content and download it directly to their phones.
Hayati will offer a 'one stop shop' for mobile content that not only caters for everyone with SMS and WAP phones, but also to next generation handsets featuring MMS and GPRS. Etisalat customers who register for Hayati will be able to configure their mobile phones in order to personalise downloads of news, websites, polyphonic ringtones, photo wallpapers and the latest in multi-media images and video.
Etisalat's executive vice president marketing, Mohammed Al Fahim says: "Hayati gives you the freedom of choice to personalise your content and the way you want it to appear on your mobile. We are sure Hayati will become a real favourite for everyone who wants to unlock the potential of their mobile phones, PDAs, laptops and internet experience in one simple step."
Etisalat is unveiling its Hayati portal at GITEX and will officially launch the service later this year, with full details of available content and pricing structure.
Hayati will be the ideal platform and 'window' to allow content and mobile application providers to deliver their products to customers.
"Hayati will enhance everyone's mobile lifestyle across the UAE, with real consumer and business benefits that exploit the full potential of today's wireless content," concludes Fahim.
