Wahid Attalla, Director of Operations for Nakheel said, "Nakheel recognizes that over recent years there has been substantial investment in the UAE real estate market by Indian investors. We therefore feel that it is important to be in India at this event, to give interested private and commercial investors based in India, the opportunity to liaise directly with Nakheel staff and view detailed plans and models of Nakheel's broad-ranging developments first hand".

At the UAE Trade Exhibiton in India, Nakheel will display its complete portfolio of developments, which span freehold residential and commercial projects. According to Attalla, All Nakheel's projects bear a common stamp - innovative yet practical, exclusive yet affordable, always unique and iconic.

The rapidly growing Nakheel portfolio currently under construction includes The World, The Palm, Jumeirah Islands, Jumeirah Lake Towers and The Gardens Shopping Mall. Projects already completed include The Gardens residential community.

Until now, The Palm, Jumeirah is probably the most well-known project in Nakheel's portfolio at an international level, due to its iconic shape and appeal as an idyllic place to reside or holiday. The Palm, Jumeirah has already been a sell-out success and The Palm, Jebel Ali, which was launched for sale in the second quarter of this year is also rapidly approaching sell out.

The UAE Trade Exhibition in India is taking place until 24th October at the World Trade Centre in Mumbai.
