Our hub services will make a huge impact on businesses with regional ambitions and today's signing marks a significant step in the provision of IPVPN. TE Data operates one of the largest IP networks in Egypt and has launched an ambitious plan to expand its network regionally offering Internet and IPVPN services to enterprise customers. Through this agreement TE Data will be able to benefit from Jordan Telecom value-added services such as its outsourced Data Center. Choosing them as the first node outside of Egypt in TE Data regional network made a perfect business sense to us " said Emad Al Azhary, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of TE Data. "Jordan Telecom is providing value added services that are tailored to suit the requirements of different sectors throughout the region. This has driven us to sign an agreement with Jordan Telecom in order to benefit from a portfolio of services such as the hub and Data Center. We believe that this is a tremendous step for us to expand our services in the region."
Under this agreement TE Data will obtain a number of high-end hub services from Jordan Telecom as part of its investment promotion package. This consists of a portfolio of services that benefit both regional operators and customers who want to extend their client-base or to establish Points of Presence (PoPs). Among the high-end services offered is a Data Center/co-location service. The Data Center hosts private services in a secure environment and provides highly-reliable Internet connectivity to Jordan's Internet Exchange and Web.
"This agreement is considered a proof that Jordan Telecom's services and Jordan's telecommunications sector is getting recognition throughout the region. It's a very motivating step and we are developing more services to enable customers to benefit from our services," added Mialet.

About Jordan TelecomJordan Telecom, established in 1971, is the provider of Jordan's only fixed line network (Jordan Telecom), an ISP (Global One), a GSM operator (MobileCom) and Internet content delivery services (e-Dimension).
