"We're using the GITEX show as a platform to draw businesses with small to medium-sized data centres, server rooms or computer rooms, looking for a reliable and efficient IT solution to build a solid foundation for their company's success," says Carl Kleynhans, country general manager: Africa at APC. Kleynhans will be representing the African channel on APC's exhibition stand, booth S7-1, Hall 7.

GITEX delegates using Voice-over-IP or will older uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs) nearing the end of their life-cycles can learn about how InfraStruXure combines manageable power and cooling products in a package specifically designed for today's IT needs.

"Expanding the building block approach beyond power, InfraStruXure integrates the rack, cooling, power, management and services that comprise NCPI into an open, adaptable and integrated solution," explains Kleynhans. " IT managers can select a variety of standardised components to create a customised solution, providing the reliability, affordability and predictability of standardised solutions, while remaining completely customised to solve specific problems. InfraStruXure also allows additional capacity to be purchased and installed only when needed, thereby limiting waste," he adds.

By printing out their e-mail invitation and taking it to the APC stand, GITEX delegates will receive a free InfraStruXure pack, comprising information on the product as well as a cap and t-shirt.
