This version of the compact 32 page per minute colour multi-functional device (MFD) uses the latest colour management and finishing capabilities to deliver high quality, colour print on demand and is ideal for the traditional Print-for-Pay and Print-on-Demand markets looking to fulfil short run colour output. With its particularly competitive pricing structure and exceptional performance, the IRC3200 speeds up the entire print workflow system, providing users with tighter control over costs.
Utilising cutting-edge technology, the IRC3200 enables users to achieve outstanding results through high quality matte finished prints at 2400 (maximised) x 600dpi resolution delivered through Canon's unique polymer 'S' type spherical toner at the same speed it produces black and white prints.

'Canon has a long heritage in colour printing, having invented the world's first colour copier. This expertise and ongoing investment has allowed us to introduce this high quality print solution tailored for the needs of the production print sector,' said Michel Sabbagh, Marketing Manager of Canon Middle East. 'The iR C3200 combines sophisticated functionality with a highly competitive price to ensure users continue to maximise their print productivity.'

Flexible
The iR C3200's multifunction capability allows the user to easily choose the function they require, whether it is printing, copying, faxing or even scanning direct to email or a database. The device also supports a diverse range of print media, from envelopes and tabs to SRA3 and stock ranging in thickness from 64 to 253gsm. This includes feeding paper stock up to 209gsm from all paper trays and includes an automatic duplex unit which also supports media up to 209gsm.

Intuitive
The IRC3200 integrates seamlessly into any network, and its printer drivers are simple for users of any level of experience. This means that it can easily be driven from any desktop on your network.

Alternatively the IRC3200 can be operated via a large, easy to use (full VGA) colour touch panel display and touch pen, which provides access to a variety of previewing and editing functions. This allows framing and blanking operations to be performed instantly at the machine saving users time and increasing productivity.

Finishing
A wide variety of production accessories are available to allow users to deliver a completely finished document. These include an automatic document feeder, 2500 sheet paper deck and a saddle-finisher for professional booklet production.

Advanced Colour Management Features
The EFI developed imagePASS-C1 Colour Controller features PostScript 3 and PCL5c and provides expert-level tools to ensure maximum print performance and colour management such as Command Workstation, ColourWise Pro Tools, and Fiery Scan.

Post-RIP calibration is integrated into the Colour Network server. This allows print jobs to be RIPped only once and outputted with different calibration profiles to match customers' expectations. They can be held for customer approval for printing at a later date without committing to a specific calibration profile.

Flexibility is built into the production process by keeping final calibration decisions to the last possible stage.

Full CMYK simulation - a complete calibration method to match the colour space of the input source with the colour space of the output device - now features output Grey Colour Replacements (GCR). Source GCR assists full accurate colour production by preserving the black channel, while Output GCR maintains the grey balance from the first print through to the last in the same colour run.
