eHosting Datafort and Jordan's Ministry of Education sign a memorandum of understanding

Jordan's commitment to reforming and developing its education system is reflected in the choice to partner with EHDF. Working towards creating a premium knowledge-based economy hinges on leveraging the cutting edge technology and service level guarantees that are offered by the likes of EHDF. With the ability to deliver the kind of services, know-how, and expertise needed to achieve Jordan's development goals, EHDF is the ideal strategic partner.

EHDF joins a host of IT and Telecom industry leaders who have been engaged to be part of Jordan's education initiative to roll out e-learning across the Kingdom. During the project, EHDF will provide consultancy services, setting up of data centres in Jordan's capital, Amman, operation and running services, as well as management support.

"We are proud to associate ourselves with Jordan's Ministry of Education. Working on an initiative of this magnitude is part of our commitment to this region's growing ICT needs and requirements," said Dr Omar Bin Sulaiman, CEO, Dubai Internet City. "Jordan has taken significant steps towards the development of its IT infrastructure and the creation of an exemplary knowledge-based economy - all of which mirrors the government of Dubai's vision of excellence for this region," he added.

This partnership will enable Jordan's Ministry of Education to benefit from state-of-the-art infrastructure level, technical knowledge and expertise, as well as service level guarantees that are unparallel in this region. "eHosting DataFort's comprehensive service offerings ensure the provision of reliable, guaranteed quality of service, enhanced security, dependability and first class customer support, backed by the wealth of experience our employees and strategic partners bring," said Sameer Sadeh, CEO, EHDF.

Jordan's integrated education reform program, unveiled earlier in 2003, seeks to boost the scores of Jordanian students in international exams, implement online learning portals for primary and secondary students, and increase college enrolment levels.
