Computer Associates Middle East signs major deal with the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Health

Computer Associates Middle East (CA-ME) has signed an IT infrastructure management agreement with the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Health.
The ministry will use CA's flagship Unicenter product for its network systems management; BrightStor for storage management, backup and recovery; and eTrust Antivirus for enhanced security.
"We are extremely pleased to announce this contract with the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Health," said Abdulaziz Al Salloum, Managing Director, CA-ME. "Computer Associates Middle East is committed to providing exceptional quality service and support in the Middle East and this contract further solidifies our place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We look forward to working with the Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia and helping in its rapid development in the healthcare sector."
The Ministry of Health provides free healthcare to all Saudi Arabian citizens as well as over two million pilgrims who visit the Kingdom each year. It is responsible for over 320 hospitals, with over 32,000 doctors and 67,000 nurses.
CA-ME is well positioned to provide appropriate technology support for the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Health. Headquartered in Riyadh, CA-ME also has offices in Jeddah and Al-Khobar and a network of offices across the Middle East.
