Under the terms of the agreement announced yesterday at GITEX, CA-ME will provide the Ministry with a host of IT infrastructure management software tools from Computer Associates' diverse product portfolio.
The ministry will use CA's flagship Unicenter product for its network systems management; BrightStor for storage management, backup and recovery; and eTrust Antivirus for enhanced security.

The Ministry of Health provides free healthcare to all Saudi Arabian citizens as well as over two million pilgrims who visit the Kingdom each year. It is responsible for over 320 hospitals, with over 32,000 doctors and 67,000 nurses.
CA-ME is well positioned to provide appropriate technology support for the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Health. Headquartered in Riyadh, CA-ME also has offices in Jeddah and Al-Khobar and a network of offices across the Middle East.
