Syria appoves income tax bill

Syrian People's Assembly has approved a new tax bill that seeks to unify income tax rates. USD112.9 from net monthly salary is exempted. Tax is still imposed on the balance according to tax strata starting from 5 per cent to 20 per cent for those whose net monthly income exceeds USD679.
