Bahrain is one of the fastest growing IT markets in the Middle East, with a PC penetration growth rate of 31.7 per cent. This is the second highest growth rate among the GCC countries, after the 33.8 per cent growth rate registered in Oman. According to independent research figures released earlier this year, the GCC has a combined PC penetration average of 7.88 per cent, which is five times higher than the 1.48 per cent prevailing in the rest of the Arab World.
