Masafi participation at 'Anuga' food exhibition a great success

Masafi, the Gulf's leading producer of bottled mineral water, received a tremendous response at Anuga 2003, the well-known international food exhibition that was held recently in Cologne, Germany.
Ashraf Abushady, General Manager (Sales, Marketing and Distribution) of Masafi, said: "We are happy to have received a huge response for our products during Anuga 2003. The Masafi stand was a big hit with visitors. Our participation at this prestigious event helped us get to know prospective new customers and provided an ideal platform to promote our world-class brand. The efforts of our team at Anuga also helped further enhance Masafi's image in international markets, as they were able to showcase a world-class UAE company to the visitors. We are currently following up on the numerous queries received from visitors to this international food fair".
About 168,000 buyers from over 150 countries visited Anuga 2003 with 55 percent of the trade visitors coming from abroad.
Masafi, which has become a generic name for mineral and bottled water in the entire Gulf region has also participated in other international exhibitions, as well as sponsoring many international events including the annual Dubai Tennis Championships and the Dubai Desert Classic golf tournament, and has supported government-driven initiatives like the Dubai Shopping Festival and Dubai Summer Surprises. Masafi was also a partner of Dubai 2003, which hosted the Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund in September.
