- PRESS RELEASE
As part of a corporate strategy to expand the export market for its range of lubricants and to intensify business opportunities beyond the GCC states, Emarat recently took part in the UAE trade fair in India, organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
"India has proved to be an exciting prospect for Emarat's business potential abroad," explained Rashid Al Shamsi, General Manager, Emarat, "Since there is considerable demand for fuel oil, kerosene and diesel from foreign markets, there are plenty of opportunities for new entrants in the lube market for India."
Shamsi added, "the response towards Emarat from the Indian market was overwhelming with visitors from the oil industry in most Indian states taking interest in our products. It is time for Emarat to look into the future and concentrate on our long-term strategy, which is to extend the Emarat brand to regional markets, and India as an emerging market holds tremendous potential for us".
In fact, Emarat are holding discussions with a number of potential customers from various states in India to set up distributorship network for marketing our lubricants in India, and more meetings with potential business partners are planned to explore possibilities of setting up a joint ventures in India.
The Corporation's presence at the exhibition follows a series of regional and international trade events that Emarat has been attending over the past few years. Already established as the leader in the UAE retail lubricants sector dominating 18% of the total market, Emarat has explored business potential through trade events in Tunisia, Jordan, Thailand, and Kazakhstan.
