Wicom Communications, the leading European provider of IP contact center and enterprise communications software, and Middle East Network Solutions (MNS), a leading provider of Wireless Applications and Unified Communication solutions, has announced a partnership.
MNS's offering includes sector-specific contact center solutions, e-commerce implementations, unified communication solutions, mobile banking empowerments and a variety of tailored wireless solutions for service providers. With innovative solutions supporting open networks and platforms, MNS has gained a strong position in Egypt and the Middle East region.
"Wicom Contact Center solution complements the MNS product portfolio by opening new, flexible opportunities for designing, organizing and operating contact centers, ideally suited for our demanding customer environments in contact intensive industries. We have completed the integration of Wicom offering with ours and our first end-customer implementation for TE Data, the first IP hosted contact center in the Middle East, has been successful," said Hossam Megahed, President and CEO, MNS. "Wicom allows MNS to deliver contact center solutions with low start up costs, short implementation time and rich multi-channel functionality."
"We are excited about the opportunity to cooperate with MNS, as they are an established IP contact center solution provider in the Middle East. MNS will represent Wicom in that region allowing Wicom to focus on the European market", said Panu Suhonen, Partner Manager, Wicom Communications.
Wicom Contact Center solution is based on Wicom CSS (Communications Server Suite), an open all-IP communications server architecture for unified queuing, prioritizing, and routing for all contacts. The suite includes the functionalities of a traditional PBX telephony system and offers a clear migration path to centrally managed and administrated all-IP business communications.
Gartner Inc. recently ranked Wicom in the "visionaries" quadrant in its report titled "Contact Center Infrastructure Magic Quadrant 2003 - EMEA Region", Wicom being the only new entrant.
