adidas gets active in supporting local UAE clubs and events

adidas-Salomon Emerging Markets has had an active six months since moving its regional headquarters to Dubai through the increasing support of a number of top local sports clubs and events.

Esports Football Academy, Aviation Club and Clark Francis Tennis are among the clubs and sporting academies adidas is heavily involved with supporting and has spent this year speaking with a range of sporting clubs in a bid to offer their ongoing support.

adidas-Salomon Emerging Markets Head of Marketing Mr Walter Bruppacher said:"At the core of adidas is its drive to encourage all forms of physical activity and sporting participation. Moving our regional hub to the UAE has allowed us to further work with some of the UAE's top sporting clubs and groups to work in unison for the greater development of sport in the Gulf." Adidas-Salomon Emerging Markets is also the leading name behind many local sporting events including the 2003 UAE FIFA World Youth Championships (being held next month) and the ATP / WTA Dubai Tennis Championships 2004.
