Ideal Systems Middle East announces a two-day interactive workshop

The workshop is on Project Management for middle and high level professionals who are engaged in the management of projects both in private and public sectors.

The workshop will be held on December 22nd and 23rd 2003 at Sheraton Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The workshop will be directed by Professor Arabinda Tripathy, a full time professor with Indian Institute of Management (IIM-A). Professor Tripathy has carried out consultancy assignments for a large number of private and public sector enterprises and international bodies. In addition to India, he has been involved directing similar workshops in countries like Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Kazakstan, Thailand, UAE, and Oman.

IIM-A is one of the Asia's finest Business Management Schools and ranked number one in India by The Economic Times. The school has emerged as an international Center of Excellence in all facets of Management Education and attracts the best talents in India and from across the globe.

The curriculum of the program is specifically designed for the Project Managers engaged in infrastructure, construction, Greenfield sites, industrial projects, replacement and reconditioning, maintenance projects etc. It is benefitial to those involved in soft projects like organizational re-structuring, implementation of IT systems like ERP etc. In addition, the program is useful for those working in financial institutions.

Management of Projects plays an important role in the success of organizations. All

About the program director
Professor Arabinda Tripathy
Ph.D. (London School of Economics)
He has done his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Operational Research from The London School of Economics and Political Science. Earlier he has done his B.Tech (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and PGDBM (Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management) from Xavier`s Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur. He has worked for over a decade in the corporate sector. Prof. Tripathy has been associated with the London School of Economics and Political Science; the Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad; and the Kazakstan unit of Ispat International as Director. He has also visited London Business School in 1990. At IIMA, where he has been associated since 1981, he has been the Chairman of the Post Graduate Program (PGP- the MBA equivalent program) and the Production and Quantitative Methods Area. He has been associated with numerous professional bodies, and has been the President of the Operational Research Society of India.
