The showroom, which will open in 2004, is the latest expansion of Mohammed Jalal and Sons Automotive Division (MJS), and will showcase all Jaguar models for prospective buyers. The new site is being built at the cost of BD1 million, and designed by the Salahuddin Consulting Engineering Bureau, and is being built by Mohammed Jalal Contracting.

John Murray the general manager of (MJS) automotive division said, "This project is most impressive, Jaguar is a very prestigious brand and no expense is being spared in order to reflect the luxury and quality of the cars in the site itself."

The new Jaguar showroom is a response to the impressive growth in Jaguar sales that MJS has experienced in the last 12 months in keeping with the trend worldwide. This trend is expected to continue with the launch of the redesigned flagship XJ saloon in Bahrain, which has earned rave reviews from automotive experts worldwide.

The Automotive Division of Mohammed Jalal and Sons was established in 1964 and holds the franchise for Jaguar, Peugeot, Suzuki and Subaru. The company has a full service department and body shop for all brands of vehicles and a comprehensive spare parts division, located in Al Khamis.
