BMW Group and regional importers gear up for the first 'BMW Group Certified Sales Consultant' in the world

BMW Group Middle East has launched a new exciting program for its importerships across the region, giving the opportunity for the sales force to earn the prestigious title of 'BMW Group Certified Sales Consultant'.

"We are proud to be the first region to launch this innovative program. With this program, we aim to continuously enhance our sales staff knowledge and skills as part of our commitment to deliver the highest standards of customer service," said Robert Bailey-McEwan, Managing Director, BMW Group Middle East.

Managed under the BMW Training Academy, the program requires new sales staff to take an induction-training course followed by a series of other courses, which offer a thorough and comprehensive entry into the worlds of BMW and MINI: the various topics covered include; history, plants and assembly, organization, products and competitors, and the sales process.

Participation in the program is open to all BMW and MINI sales staff in the region, and this highly-intensive training program involves courses focusing on BMW and MINI product knowledge and professional selling skills.

"As all importers' sales force are required to undergo product training courses, this new program is the extra mile with which we aim to differentiate BMW Group's total ownership experience," added Bailey-McEwan.

Once the training modules are completed, the participants are eligible for graduation and receive an official certificate from BMW Group. An exclusive event will be held in December 2003 in honour of the first graduates of this program.

"We look forward to celebrating the first 'BMW Group Certified Sales Consultants' in the world," concluded Bailey-McEwan.
