Altitude Software listed as Visionary in EMEA contact centre infrastructure Magic Quadrant

Altitude Software, a leading independent contact centre vendor announced today that market research firm Gartner, Inc. has placed Altitude Software in the Visionary quadrant in the EMEA contact centre market.

According to Gartner's recent report titled, "Contact Centre Infrastructure Magic Quadrant 2003 - EMEA Region", Altitude improved its position over last year's report, within the "Visionary" segment of the Quadrant.

"Altitude Software's thought leadership has allowed us to develop our product capabilities and to strengthen our market position in delivering cost-effective management of all multimedia interactions in a contact centre environment", said Altitude CEO Gastão Taveira. " Altitude was thoroughly evaluated on many important attributes and it is rewarding to be listed in the Visionary Quadrant, by Gartner, in the EMEA Region."

According to Gartner, "visionaries have a clear vision of market direction and are focused on preparing for that, but they can still improve in terms of optimising service delivery." The Gartner Magic Quadrant analyses the major players in an industry and categorises them as "leaders," "challengers," "visionaries" or "niche players".

The Gartner Inc. Magic Quadrant for the Contact Centre Infrastructure assesses companies in the industry based on depth and breadth of vendor and product capabilities. Gartner specifically looks at the contact centre applications and platforms, management tools, architecture, cost, sales channels, services and support, as well as corporate viability and vision.

Acknowledged lowest total cost of ownership
