Emirates Post and Emirates Neon sign deal to use post-office buildings for advertising signboards
- United Arab Emirates: Monday, November 17 - 2003 at 11:31
- PRESS RELEASE
Emirates Post and Emirates Neon LLC, a leading signboard company, have signed an agreement to use post-office buildings and their premises for advertising signboards of Emirates Neon's customers.
"The UAE's growing importance of the UAE as a business hub has given a big boost to the signboard industry in recent years. Emirates Post, as an innovative and forward-looking postal corporation, is keen to tap the opportunities provided by this medium through this agreement with Emirates Neon," said Mr. Al Daboos. "We have a network of 73 post-offices at strategic locations which can be effectively used for putting up signboards, helping us create yet another source of revenue, as we continue our pursuit of becoming a dynamic and commercially driven postal corporation. While signing this agreement we have taken enough precautions to ensure that the beauty and identity of the post office buildings are not marred by the signboards."
The areas to be used for commercial signboards by Emirates Neon cover different sites at post offices, including P.O. Box shelters, but not the compounds. The agreement ensures that the commercial signboards will not harm Emirates Post's interest to use the sites for postal purposes.
