Abu Dhabi equipped to handle relocating government staff

The government of Abu Dhabi has said the emirate has all the amenities and infrastructure to accommodate and serve the expected influx of people once the government's recent order for all employees of local departments and agencies to reside only within the emirate is implemented, Khaleej Times has reported. The Abu Dhabi Executive Council has given the employees a year's grace period to abide by the decision. "The decision has not been taken without studies and looking into the basic needs of government employees," the council said.
