It is the first time the event's Royal Pavilion has been sponsored by a private company. In addition to its sponsorship of the pavilion, BAE SYSTEMS will have the largest stand among UK companies taking part in the show.
'BAE SYSTEMS has a long and proud tradition of innovation and firsts. We are privileged to have the opportunity to underline our long-standing commitment to the Middle East by being the first sponsor for this prestigious pavilion,' said Simon Keith, BAE SYSTEMS Managing Director - Middle East.
'It is a great opportunity for BAE SYSTEMS to demonstrate its extensive capabilities to the widest possible audience of the region's decision-makers.
'I am keenly aware of how important the GCC and wider Middle East is to BAE SYSTEMS and I have firmly set my sights on creating new regional partnerships to bring out the best in each of us.
'We are already in discussion with local companies and I hope we can build on these as Middle East countries develop their aerospace capabilities,' added Keith.
