Motorola's C450: one step better

"The C450 is a sure winner with younger users. Its shape, colour screen and MMS capabilities mean that consumers who want affordability do not need to compromise on design," said Patrick Mulligan, General Manager, Personal Communications Sector, Motorola, Middle East North Africa.

The phone comes with more memory than the earlier C350 and caters for Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS), allowing users to send sounds and images to other MMS capable handsets.

The C450 is Java enabled, giving users the option to download Java applications such as games. Two games are provided along with an application called DJColette which demonstrates the great polyphonic tones.

Predictive text is now much easier since the C450 predicts one main word, but with others still available to choose from.

Another nice feature is the inclusion of a separate alarm clock so that one does not have to enter a morning bell as an event in the date book.

Mulligan added, "with more new pictures, screensavers and wallpapers, and a price tag below Dhs. 500, the C450 is going to become a must this holiday season."
