New highlights from the Group's BMW brand will include two completely new model series; 6 Series, X3, and the revamped X5 Series.

True to its unique and fun personality, the MINI brand will stage a spirited show this year presenting its 'Fab Four' models of which the new 'MINI Cooper Club Sport' makes its debut in the region. New colour and features will be presented on the MINI Cooper, MINI Cooper S and MINI Cooper S Works.

"This is an exciting motor show for us, packed with new models and new innovations. For the first time, visitors to this motor show will enjoy BMW Group being represented by its three premium brands; BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce," said Robert Bailey-McEwan, Managing Director of BMW Group Middle East.

BMW Group pursues an uncompromising premium brand strategy that includes a portfolio consisting exclusively of premium marques; from the small car to the luxury segment.

"Through the MINI brand, we have established the premium philosophy in the small car segment, proving that premium is not a question of size. Through the BMW brand we occupy the relevant segments in the midrange and luxury performance markets. And, through the Rolls-Royce brand, we have been represented since the beginning of this year also in the absolute high-end segment," he added.

Dream Car of the Year 2004: New BMW 6 Series Coupe
The new BMW 6 Series Coupé will be making its debut at this year's Middle East Motor Show, continuing BMW Group's heritage of the first legendary 6 Series (1976 - 1989) and maintaining the company's long tradition of large luxury coupés.

This new fascinating sports car stands out with its exclusive design, a refined and powerful engine, outstanding sportiness and ample interior space will set new standards in the luxury sports coupé market.

The 4.4-litre V8 power unit, already well known from the BMW 745Li, ensures dynamic driving conditions at all times. Featuring fully variable VALVETRONIC valve control, the engine develops a maximum output of 333 bhp, allowing the new 6 Series coupé to reach its top speed of 250 km/h (governed). Acceleration is equally exhilarating with the BMW 645Ci, covering the classic sprint from 0-100km/h in 5.6 seconds.

The X-Family Gets Bigger: the new BMW X3
Following the phenomenal global and Middle East success of the BMW X5 Sports Activity Vehicle which was launched three years ago, BMW is now expanding its X-family by launching the dynamic and equally versatile BMW X3. The X3 is due to arrive in the markets in early 2004.

The new BMW X3 combines the outstanding agility of a typical BMW with the wide range of practical features offered by a Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV). The X3 is the first premium model in the SAV segment beneath the X5.

BMW's 3.0-litre straight-six gasoline power units ensure dynamic performance. Delivering 231 bhp, the agile X3 3.0i reaches a top speed of up to 210km/h and a Sports Package will be also available with a high-speed set-up providing a top speed of 221km/h.

New Intelligent x-Drive Innovation Debuts on X3 and X5
A special highlight of the BMW X3 and enhanced BMW X5 is the all-new intelligent xDrive all-wheel-drive technology allowing adjustable and fully variable 100% distribution of power from the rear to the front of the vehicle - the system immediately recognises any need for change in power distribution and responds quickly to ensure that the wheels don't loose their grip.

On the road, xDrive offers a significantly higher standard of agility, driving pleasure and safety all in one. xDrive also ensures better grip and traction on slippery or rough terrain.

A Racing Champion - MINI Cooper Club Sport
The 'MINI Cooper Club Sport' Edition is converted by the renowned John Cooper Garages in the UK, which have over 40 years of motorsport experience. Featuring a standard 115 bhp MINI Cooper, 4-cylinder engine with 1.6 litre displacement, the conversion has been designed to be a dual-purpose car satisfying requirements of both daily road use and competitive motorsport
